Dylan Kahn

Bitter Jester Music Festival Judge

2014 Bitter Jester Grand Champion

Dylan is a 2015 graduate of Highland Park High School, recent graduate of UW-Madison, and 2014 Bitter Jester Grand Champion with his former band, Xazz.

From the time Dylan first stepped on stage at eight years old, he wowed audiences with his innate vocal ability and voracious energy. While in high school, Xazz experienced relative success, recording two original albums and performing throughout the Chicagoland area.

In college, Dylan continued his pursuit of music as a member of UW-Madison's premier a cappella group, The Madhatters. With the group, Dylan was able to perform at NBA games, the Wisconsin Governor's mansion, and even had the opportunity to sing "Sweet Caroline" at his own commencement ceremony.

Though Dylan is currently studying to become a lawyer, music remains an integral part of his life and he records music from time to time in his bedroom studio.

Bitter Jester gave 16-year-old me the opportunity to feel like a real rock star, if only for a moment.
