Anthony began judging in 2022
Anthony Hish
Bitter Jester Music Festival Judge
Anthony Hish graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
Despite his business degree, he has been involved in music his whole life as a percussionist. He was a member and section leader of the Illini Drumline as well as a member of the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps for 3 summers on the snareline.
Upon graduating, he formed a band called ZORILA, and began gigging around as their drummer while the band moved to Chicago.
Since relocating, the band has played many shows and venues throughout Chicagoland including Lincoln Hall, Schuba's, SubT, Beat Kitchen, SoFar Sounds, and more. ZORILA has released a full album called Sidney as well as some recent singles and EPs to various streaming services.
Currently, Anthony is a session musician around Chicago, a member of the Chicago Bears Drumline, clinician for the Illini Drumline and Smith Walbridge Clinics in addition to ZORILA and his Finance career.
He’s thrilled to return as a clinician for the esteemed Bitter Jester Music Fest and thanks his ZORILA bandmate, Michael Brook, for turning him on to this incredible event!
